Houston Asiatown Tours and Chinatown Crawl HTX are coming together to host a promotional event in Houston Chinatown - Asian Foodcation. It’s a 2-fold activity that involves Asian Summer Foodcation Weeks and Asian Foodcation Map & Resource Guide.

Our goal is to attract potential contest participants including residents from immediate neighborhoods, tourists, students, corporate groups, seniors and families. The promotion is scheduled to launch in August 2022.

Asian Summer Foodcation Week is a weeklong Scavenger Hunt from Sunday August 7 to Saturday August 20. The goal is to generate shared content on social media. We will ask participants to patronize featured restaurants to find clues and post them on social media. All participants who complete the required quest will be entered into a drawing for value gift cards. Your restaurant should be on the list!

Asian Foodcation Map & Resource Guide are both designed to continue the exposure of featured restaurants even after the Scavenger Hunt ends. This guide will contain a general map of Southwest Houston with featured restaurants, contact info, address and social media handles. Your restaurant should be on the map!

There is no cost to restaurants. All you need is to send us the following:

● Your restaurant name, address, contact number and email address.

● Manager or owner’s contact information. (Name, email, and phone number)

● The business website and social media handles are recommended.

We are accepting restaurants to be featured for this and future events. For current featured restaurants, please make sure your employees are aware of this event and welcome them like any other customers. There is no discounts or promotions given to the scavenger hunt participants. They will complete requested quests to win prizes hosted by the organizer.

Additionally, we are promoting this event on Facebook pages, Facebook foodie groups, Yelp Event page, and Social Media posts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. The announcement will be shared/retweeted by local and visiting foodies and several community organizations.
