at Fo Guang Shan Chung Mei Buddhist Temple
This is an one-of-a-kind meetup. We are going to meet at Fo Guang Shan Chung Mei Buddhist Temple 休斯頓佛光山中美寺 for a vegetarian lunch at Water Drop Teahouse and tour the temple afterwards.
We first meet at the entrance of the temple by the first pillar on the left (if weather not permitting, we meet inside by the information booth). Because the restaurant doesn't take reservations, we have to wait until everyone arrives and then walk in at the same time.
The prayer service should end about 12:30. We can observe the activities while touring the temple. We may have a tour guide to lead us.
Water Drop Teahouse serves vegetarian dishes with seasonal dishes. Be prepared to bring cash as we are going to share the total cost of the meal at the end. After the meal, we can tour around the garden area and enjoy the fall foliage etc.
